THAT was impressive. I saw 11 cows take a strike on a farm here in New Hampshire. Funny thing was, it was a fairly large storm & on day 3 of restoring power, we drove back by the pasture to see them still laying there all stiff legged. The farmer was awaiting the insurance company to come check his claim & was told not to touch the cows until they had investigated. That must have smelled fucking god-awful!

That was fascinating to watch. An act of God. I have never seen such a thing. Sad the guy died, but hopefully it was immediate.

Always impressed by the insta-kill properties of a bolt of lightning  They should have figured out how to harness lightning instead of the messy, unreliable, and old-fashioned electric chair that took minutes to kill, stunk up the place and caused your electric bill to just skyrocket for that month.
