Re: Slovenian Andrej Beuc Dies After Jumping into Drina River During Competition
A river's mud underneath can act as quicksand as well and can slip anyone making them to sink, morever the river seems flowing fast .. no matter how professional your are and poor visibility in muddy river can also make the rescue divers having difficulties as well. Hope they find him soon ..

Hilarious cryptid-conspiracy nutballs posting in this topic. As anyone can clearly see, it was a large kraken or possibly a green gargantua (the brown ones are always friendly) and not some ridiculous prehistoric beast that at' him. Sheesh.

Yeah it looks like he bobbed up and had his hand in a fist like a fist pump...but then he turns and looks towards the camera, then faces straight ahead again and just..disappears. I'm guessing maybe he got caught in weeds or something and then the undercurrent started pulling him and dragged him under :/ |

Re: Slovenian Andrej Beuc Dies After Jumping into Drina River During Competition
no i think he was struggling to raise his arm and wasnt able to. my theory: initially broke his neck or spine, was able to move, but by doing so, and turning his neck as he rose from the surface, he further cut the spinal cord and lost his capacity to move, ie quickly reached some degree of paralysis |

Re: Slovenian Andrej Beuc Dies After Jumping into Drina River During Competition
Fuck off. People are so stupid. He obviously was injured from the dive and was struggling to surface. He probably hit the water too hard and had internal bleeding of some sort. A head wound, or broken spine or something. There are plenty of videos of guys jumping off bridges and when they surface from the water they are still alive, but then shortly after they LOSE consciousness and drown because of a sustained injury during the water entry. You can break many bones or get a concussion. Who knows. But it's DEFINITELY obvious that he was injured from the jump, and couldn't stay afloat. Kinda strange that the divers lost sight of him so quickly though.
