She was a doctor who was under serious stress and a guy shows up handing her papers and pulls a gun on her while she's in her own home. Once she closed the door and the papers were served the cops or process server should have left her alone. She's allowed to have a knife in her own home. She didn't lunge at the cop or threaten him in any way. These power hungry cops wanted to kill someone so they used her having a knife as an excuse to bust in and murder her. Noone pulled a gun on her. The cop is allowed to assume her to attack him, and draw his weapon.
She refused service.
She answered the door knowing it was a cop.. and she took a knife with her as a show of defiance toward the Law. She was talking over him and acting like a nutter. Behaving aggressively and making aggressive comments towards cops(while holding a knife) is NOT WISE.
