An 18-year-old girl, Kimberly D.A.S.R., was riding her motorcycle when, for reasons yet to be determined, she collided into a truck. Her head was run over by the truck, killing her at the scene. The truck driver parked their vehicle a few metres ahead before fleeing the scene.

Kimberly, 43, was the mother driving and survived while her daughter Dayana A.Z.R. died.

As a kid, I loved the movie Stand by Me. But every time it got to the part they found his body, I’d find the dead open eyes so scary, I’d always cover my eyes. Even as an adult I can remember that real fear, like the image was fixated in my head.

This popped eye is way worse, and real. And it makes sense that I overcame that fear, but it’s funny how even now, seeing this makes me think of that scene. Epic movie.

Pandemic was terrible. Girls looked always way more mysterious and cute with a mask on but once they took it off they looked like that.
