No the word used in Mexico for Shooter / Gunman is not Sicario. That’s is a Castilian Spanish word used outside of Mexico. The word used around here for hitmen / shooters is Cuetador or Tirador. Those are the words used by the border cartels for their hitmen.

I was just pointing out that fact.
Noun. sicario (plural sicarios) hitman, hired killer (especially when referring to Latin American drug cartels).
