Sicario Shoots Man Dead, Only to Get Shot Himself by Policeman
Bosa, Bogotá, Colombia On the afternoon of the 28th, armed men traveling on a motorcycle opened fire on a citizen in the middle of a public road. The victim died at the scene from gunshot wounds, while the immediate response of National Police officers patrolling the area triggered a shootout with the attackers. In that confrontation, one of the suspected hitmen was killed by the authorities. During the operation, a woman who was allegedly with the attackers was arrested at the scene and turned over to the Prosecutor's Office. According to initial reports, in addition to the two fatalities, a police officer was injured and taken to a medical centre for treatment. |

At first it seemed to be a perfectly executed hit with the getaway cycle arriving immediately and the whole operation taking less than 30 seconds. Were they so intent on the target that they just didn't see the coppers until too late?
