He needed to be moved onto the grass, poor dude. One can't help but think it was drug related. The rolling from side to side was from discomfort from the concrete and trying to remain in this world. He's fighting death and as his head would fall to the side, his reaction was to remain conscious. The hard edge of the concrete actually helped keep him going and uncomfortable.
