I lived in Springfield for a few years too. It was not uncommon to return from the corner convenience store and read in the newspaper the next morning that the store clerk was shot to death in an attempted robbery. 16th most violent city in the country. When I grew up in Worcester I was fortunate in that I lived in the West side, which was the nicest, least crime ridden part of the city. Worcester State College was actually on the West side, or bordered it at least. But that was then, this is now  |

Nope wrong. Blacks are the mass shooting specialists. It's just that the news won't report it. But a quick Google search shows "mass shootings have disproportionately occurred in predominantly Black neighborhoods. Nearly 50 percent of the shootings analyzed by The Trace took place in majority-Black census tracts even though less than 10 percent of census tracts nationally have majority Black populations." Hey, but never let facts get in the way of a good old fashioned idiotic inflammatory statement. |
