Re: Shooting at Mississippi Apartment
Your argument makes no sense given the context of the video. Its different if you point a gun at someone who is also pointing a gun at you, and hesitate pulling the trigger. And having a bigger gun than someone else doesn't matter if the other person is unarmed and not making any threatening gestures. All that is clearly shown in the video. And if I'm understanding your main point correctly, you're saying that the guy was basically asking for it. But if I had to speculate, the guy that was killed looks like he was protecting the female, and it would've been his right to pick the gun back up and shoot had he been able to do so. |

Re: Shooting at Mississippi Apartment
If you want to call someone a moron, and not immediately look like an idiot, you should at least use grammar check first. I don't disagree that ego played a role in what we see here, and that guns shouldn't be brandished prematurely, but this was murder. You suggest this is a mutually agreed street fight between neanderthals, when the facts point to something else. You ignore the fact that the guy who actually fired the shots was the one who initiated the confrontation, and had more than enough time to see the other guy was unarmed before firing the shots. Also, did you not hear a male say "I dont have no beef with you?" at the beginning of the video? Its not clear who said that, but ask yourself how that would fit into the narrative knowing Holmes started this by pulling up on the couple with his gun out. And if you did what Holmes did here, you two would be cellmates. This will be an easy murder conviction for the prosecutor. Moron. |

Re: Shooting at Mississippi Apartment
I think i comment made perfect sense, the man was walking away, but the other guy followed him. The fact they were both armed and yelling in each other's face is enough of a "threat" for me. Now when the other guy walked away that would have been a perfect time to completely deescalate and leave. Instead he followed him and the shooter eventually decided to shoot. (You can actually see him get fed up and decide to shoot).

Re: Shooting at Mississippi Apartment
HE DIDNT WANT TO SHOOT HOLMES. He had more than one opportunity to pop that guy when his back was turned but he didn't....he was the one that even dropped his weapon when it was the other guy who rolled up on him with one. Tell me again, what threat was he at that moment? Oh, you said Holmes was fed up. Yeah, that's a good reason to kill someone. Someone annoys you, so its fine to shoot them in the face. Ego made Holmes fire those first shots, and I'm sure if he gets a lawyer with half a brain, they will claim self defense made him fire the last (which is probably true, technically), but the later wont matter in a court of law, because he was the one that created a situation in which a man was killed. |
