Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
Put your money where your mouth is. Move to Memphis, or Philly, or Chicago, or any totally ghettofied city. Go out at night at say, 2, or 3 am and just go for a stroll. Be sure and use your cell phone so that it can be seen. Wear a nice watch too. And, just live there. And let us know how that works out for you.

Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
I'll be the first one to call out a cop when he's as asshole. However, this one was 100% the fault of the low life thug the cops killed. My first question is why was the thug not in jail? If you look as his arrest record he had multiple burglaries when the inhabitants were home, he screwed a minor child, was a junkie, thief, had stolen gun charges, etc. Any way you slice it, the cops did the community a favor. This happened in a busy public area. Even if the cops wanted to execute him, they would not in public unless there was good reason to do so. The thug had a gun, and was trying to grab it when they shot him. You don't pepper spray, taze, or offer to discuss surrender over a cup of tea when you have a violent felon with a gun fighting with you. All the loser had to do when the cops arrived was to get on his knees, put his hands up, and it would all have been over with no violence. The thug knew he would have to serve jail time for illegally having a gun and made the bad choice to fight the cops. Give the thug's history of drugs, and that he had flashed his gun earlier at a homeless person, I highly suspect the thug was high at the time. |

Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
What stupid whore comments here again also the Topic starter. He hes no threat to anyone, and his rep sheet, Shows nothing a Person would deserve serious harm for. U guys again try to justify mass murder in the US by Cops. I just saw yesterday a Statistic from the NYT 505 unarmed civilians shot Januar-June 2016 by Police officers in the US. The US loses each year more civilians to their Police than terrorists, they havent even lost so many yearly in the past wars. WHat a Police state |

From a Law Enforcement side... When one of us yells gun, knife, etc it is in our training to react to disarm one.. not to just attack in a situation as this. You have reactionary period to make a decision and bam! No going back. His hands should have been immediately grabbed and wrists cuffed. If he did try and pull a gun they should have immediately had him under control... you just never know what really happened.

Re: The Shooting of Alton Sterling
Idk what to think. I can't really see clearly if he actually reaches for his gun or not. Can anyone actually see if the black man reaches for his gun? Because I think if he was reaching for his gun to try and shoot the cops then this was justified as self defense for the cops. If he was not reaching for his gun this was not justified. Regardless, the cops should have restrained him more quickly.
