Re: Shark Attack (aftermath)

I live very close to South Padre Island, TX (about 15 minutes away,) and apparently there have now been 7 confirmed attacks just today. The hurricane (Beryl- currently a category 3) that is moving toward the Gulf of Mexico is being blamed for the unusual marina life activity.
beryl hit me and family hard been without power since Monday running outta food and it's like 103 in the apartment no relief in sight this SUCKS!!:2gunsfirin g_v1:

Re: Shark Attack (aftermath)

I would just love to point out how everyone is talking about this lady, but there was a 14-15 year old girl that lost one leg and one arm on that same day. Also her friend was injured.

Re: Shark Attack (aftermath)

Anyone ID that shark? Blacktip, maybe?
It's more likely a bull shark according to the shape of the fins and the damage to the lower leg; the pointed teeth of blacktips doesn't inflict such a massive tissue loss.

Re: Shark Attack (aftermath)

The shark in the water was like:

“It was me. I did it. I killed Yvette. I hated her so much it felt like flames….flames on the side of my face…..”

Re: Shark Attack (aftermath)

I've been diving with black tips before... worst diving tips i ever got. always bet on er.. um, yeah so i hear black tips have faster quick twitch muscle fibers that makes them abandon their kids, sell drugs, and all sorts of ill shit.

and other coral sharks and they are usually not aggressive... doesnt mean it wasn't... certainly looked to be.
