I saw this on the news this morning. According to the report (NYC news), there were no deaths and they stated it wasn't attacks but the shark was "just" biting to see what it was in the water. Also that the shark went out to open sea. Those people probably would have beaten it to death if gotten the chance.

Agreed on Bull Shark. Most of the shark incidents off the Texas coast have been Bull Sharks, from my recollection.

THIS IS RUMOR CONTROL: Contrary to the enormous rumors and false claims about the shark encounters on Padre July 4, there were only two people bitten by what appears to be a 9-12 foot bull shark. A woman was bitten by the shark in the calf and a bystander had his arm bitten when he attempted to assist her in the middle of the encounter. The other two reports of negative encounters were the shark bumping and pushing on bathers. No one else was bitten.

LMAO Like which part? I live right here. These fucking attacks are all over our local social media. That's where I got the video. I have friends that live there. The hurricane is causing the marine life to shift inland, and these particular sharks were actually trapped behind a sandbar, which is why you can still see them from the shore.
