Very useful for parts. Only thing that is "locked" is the main board.

That being said there are a few bypass. Key word is BYPASS, not a actually full fledged fix.

The mother's are about 1/3 the price of a new phone with a clean IMEI from a good source.

If you have access to $5000 tool, you can have the board "cleaned" and a shit IMEI. But that's a bitch.
