Re: Security Guard Gunned Down with AK47
Yep, friend of mine was issued a grease gun (cheaper replacement for Thompson) in the Vietnam War. But you all are missing the important stuff. Doesn't the guards head explode from a bullet as he is falling back? Old fat mexican guys taking a siesta in a corner make lousy security, have you ever seen one standing in any of these vids? |

..."hands down"? you don't think an A-10 Warthog, or a C-135 gunship, or cruise missile, .50 caliber truck mount, or nuclear explosive can contend...?

Re: Security Guard Gunned Down with AK47
Yes, transition to grease gun started in WW2, they were still issued to some service/armored troops in Vietnam. Thompsons were given to our allies as they were considered obsolete, if you have ever picked one up you know why. Thompsons were not issued to our troops in Vietnam, most were gotten from our Vietnamese allies. |
