Two men fell off their motorbike after drinking, one suffered a head injury and his companion called the police.

Good Samaritans driving by spotted them, stopped their car and came back to try to help them.

However, a tragic scene happened.

A van hit the injured man lying on the ground, causing a secondary accident.

The injured man's head was crushed and his companion was seriously injured.

It’s China. How could someone not hit them while laying in the road like that.

You knew it had to happen.

But at least they don’t have to decide between Tweedledum and Tweedledee today.

Lessons learned today on DR:

1) If someone is injured on an active Chinese highway, it might be wise to drag them out of traffic.

2) deploy the emergency triangle or hazard lights BEFORE tending the victim for a prolonged period.

3) don't risk your safety for strangers that have been operating a motor vehicle while impaired. A real tragedy here would be two dead budding good samaritans
