I know, right? It’s as if our current government is trying to cull the population by letting more dangerous drugs in, killing more addicts than ever before, as well as being very lenient with criminals, letting them out with no bond, only to have them reoffend. It’s senseless to me. Just FYI... Not many people know that these terms were developed during the Cold War... the definition has been skewed somewhat since, to reflect more of a socio-economic view. First World ~ The bloc of democratic-industrial countries within the American influence sphere. Second World ~ The Eastern bloc of the communist-socialist states. Third World ~ The remaining three-quarters of the world's population, mostly the under developed, poor states, not aligned with either bloc. |
