I'm not sure that it was as much as 20...or that it went deep enough...plus I dont think any of the stabs went near to his vital organs. Unless the attackers hit an artery, I think that there's a fair chance that he survived it |

Didn't look like a long blade but he was stabbed like 11-15 times. With that many wounds I highly doubt he would survive unless they are superficial. It looked like he may have gotten one in the kidney. If the blade was long enough I imagine he would have at least 1 punctured lung because he was being stabbed in that area. Having your lung collapse doesn't mean you will die unless both collapse. It is entirely possible to continue living for awhile with only 1 functioning lung. My friend had a collapsed lung after being stabbed with an ice pic in through his clavicle bone. He sprinted a block and half to the hospital without being able to breath due to the fact that every breath he took was blood. He arrived at hospital they quickly stuck him with some sort of pen he describe it as and inflated his lung, he could breath again and was ok after some minor surgery. |
