oil tankers that are overfishing there territory? LOL. They got what they deserved. let them swim next time. This will keep the shark population stable and compensates for overfishing.....

Yes, we should treat these hostages well since their only crime is claiming hostages at gun point. And overfishing? They don't hijack fishing vessels. They hijack travelers in yachts and speedboats. Give me a break and read a newspaper once in a while.

Regardless of who they hijack, they're only doing it because thats what their environment pushes them into. So somethings obviously wrong. You don't just wake up one morning and decide to go and hold some hostages for ransom. Killing them is not a good thing. 1. It won't stop future pirates. 2. It will make future pirates fight to the death which will lead to an increased risk of injury for the "good" guys. 3. It doesn't change the situation that created them in the first place. It's cave man logic and holds back humanity from progressing. As for the guy who said it was a fishing boat...maybe they were fishing for Jaws. |
