Re: Russian Man Stabs His Girlfriend Dead in Public
If the case was decided solely on this clip- with her physically blocking his path, moving with him to continue to block his path and with her hands on him- this looks like self defense to me.

Re: Russian Man Stabs His Girlfriend Dead in Public
That my friend is why you should never go pro se in court because if you tried that 9,999.999 out of 10k jury’s would find you guilty in minutes. Self defense has to be one of 3 things : 1) You reasonably felt in danger of bodily harm or death. 2) you reasonably believed you had to intervene from someone else in danger of bodily harm or death 3) (in some states) you reasonably felt it was the only way to protect your property from being taken. Standing in front of someone wouldn’t rise to the level of fatal force. Should it be a kidnapping ie. The physically dominant individual is preventing you from leaving putting yourself in danger of bodily harm or death. Again, not the case. |

Re: Russian Man Stabs His Girlfriend Dead in Public
Yanno I did read it then you had to be a dick for no reason, like friend is something your not familiar with but it's just a greeting like "dude" but if you for one believe 1) representing yourself is smart 2) that by standing in front of someone it now makes it legal to kill them & 3) believe she was actually stopping him from leaving, in the literal held hostage sense then I'm pretty well informed that you just dunno WTF your talking about. Like literally knocking her out IN THIS CASE would actually be the smart thing out of the two but ay who am I? Only a slim amount of self defense claims work if they actually press charges but im confident you represented yourself & Perry Mason d the court room & are responsible for half the wins
