Re: Russian Man Burned to Death in Car Accident

Reminds me of the video of the four(?) people who died in a burning car. The screams coming out of the car were haunting.
Reminded me of the same video.

Is it just me or do Russians suck at driving? Theres no other country in the world that produces as many car crash videos as they do, xD and at such a horrific level. Poor man though

Well, they might, but so much of what you're talking about is due to the insanely high number of dashcams in Russia, that record all the fucked up accidents that would never get recorded otherwise. Not that it applies to this video I don't think.

It's kind of like how for many years (and still today somewhat) people think America "has all the fucked up shit happen" because we started having everybody and their brother start filming everything that happens first.

A lot of it has nothing to do with driver skill and is just a factor of poor vehicle safety, poorly engineered motorways, etc.

they should have pulled the car away since the begining but the coward took off really fast and scared after he herd a sound. and throwing plastic bottles at the fire has never contributed on turning off any type of fire at the contrary, the unlucky guy had to deal w/ melting plastic on top of the fire next to him smfh

@Krokodil My thoughts exactly. I remember one case where a trucker was carrying flammable things. He'd gotten into an accident and the truck could have blown up right there and injured and killed many people. But he decided that he needed to get his truck as far away as possible. He did.

Re: Russian Man Burned to Death in Car Accident

The nightmares. Poor guy. Good grief! The nightmares these bystanders will have, OMG. I couldn't watch the whole video because those screams and cries for help were too much. Terrible situation. So freaking terrible. Maybe they government should start setting up road side assistance boxes for situations such like this, bystanders can have more adaquete supplies to use to rescues someone. Like large extinguishers, burn blankets, first aid kits...that type of stuff.
Fortunately, at least in the US, response times by rescuers are better. Additionally, accidents like this don't happen frequently.

We did have one in my area, though, where a trucker burned to death. The ambulance had arrived on scene and attempted to get him out, but they were unsuccessful and they listened to him scream for help before he died. It was a couple of people I work with, and I know they're haunted even though they won't admit it, you can see it in them when they talk about it.

God. It's traumatizing just hearing that poor guy...watching this video...all the attempts taken to stop the fire...to no avail. But 100x more traumatizing to those good Samaritans who really tried to help. I'd need therapy for a very long time to be able to handle life after being involved in such a tragic...death. So sad. RIP Dude.

Oleander29 So tragic. Very true about the response times out there in Eastern Europe (probably most of the world) are so slow. That is why governments should spend more time and money taking care of their inhabitants! Like my idea for equipping roadways, have emergency stations and can at least help the victim a bit before the EMTs and firefighters come. Takes a lot of time and money to construct stations like that...but...governments are too busy stuffing their pockets to care about people's safety!

I remember watching a video where an 18 wheeler caught fire in the midst of traffic. Instead of the truck driver just jumping out and letting everyone else help, this trucker decided to move his truck away from the roadway. That helped prevent loss of life...even damages to buildings.
