Re: Russian Biker Killed After Stunt Goes Awry
Evel Knievel if he were in the herenow instead of the hereafter would have watched this video and said, "How the fuck does a stunt biker get killed popping wheelies solo on a smooth race track when I used to jump over 20 school buses laid end to end?!? What? Oh, Russia. Nevermind." |

Re: Russian Biker Killed After Stunt Goes Awry
Off topic but I saw an interview with Evel Knievel (when he was alive) where Evel said he floored the throttle right after takeoff from a ramp during a motorcycle jump. As he explained it, the centripital momentum stabilized the wheel like a gyroscope and gave him stability in the air. Or something like that...

Re: Russian Biker Killed After Stunt Goes Awry
If you floor the bike in the air with the clutch out it'll bring your rear end down. If you floor the bike in the air with the clutch in it'll help keep the bike in the position it is in. If you stop the rear tire in the air with the brake it will bring the rear end up.
