The terrible story that happened near St. Petersburg on the bright Orthodox holiday of Epiphany still evokes horror. An adult, educated woman, A.U., decided to traditionally swim in the hole for the holiday, but made a tragic mistake and her life was cut short. She was left with a heartbroken husband and two children. On February 1, the funeral of the deceased took place. The children could not say goodbye to their mother: On February 1, at the Ozerkovsky cemetery in the Leningrad region, a 41-year-old woman was buried, who drowned in an ice hole at Epiphany. The burial took place in a closed white lacquered coffin and in almost complete silence, according to KP St. Petersburg. Due to the fact that the body spent almost ten days in the water, the lid of the coffin was not opened. The deceased was buried in the chapel and then buried surrounded by birches and pines. At parting, only the closest ones were present - the husband, 10-year-old son, the mother of the deceased, the closest relatives and friends of the family. How A, who drowned at Epiphany, was buried One of the first to arrive at the snow-covered cemetery was a tall man in a black coat—A's husband. A string of guests followed - a very narrow circle of relatives gathered (about 30 people), none of the outsiders knew about the farewell - the relatives kept it in the strictest confidence. While everyone was gathering strength, a white hearse drove into the cemetery, overcoming far from small snowdrifts. A snow-white lacquered coffin was taken out of it. A's body stayed in the water for about 9 days, so they decided to bury the woman with the lid closed. A was buried in a small chapel in the cemetery. Before that, almost all the guests came up to touch for the last time, if not to the woman herself, but at least to the coffin. A was buried in complete silence, none of those present uttered a word. The coffin was lowered into the pit, and only after that did everyone give vent to tears. When the official part of the funeral ceremony was over, cars parked in a slender row began to disperse. Only the closest remained at A's grave. They set up a small table and commemorated the deceased for a few more minutes. Meanwhile, on the plate installed on the grave cross, it can be seen that the woman celebrated her last 41st birthday quite recently - on January 3rd. The husband fell apart, a psychologist works with the children A, who died on January 19, is survived by her husband, son and daughter. Now the family is supported by relatives and specialists. They don't have any financial difficulties. It wasn't, anyway. There was a fairly wealthy and happy family. And just like that, everything at one moment ... Children still cannot move away from shock. The husband also fell apart, friends are worried that nothing should happen to him. A's mother is also very worried, but she is holding on, grandchildren need to be raised, - they shared, surrounded by the deceased, noting that psychologists work with children. Colleagues of A, who worked in the legal field, suggest that she had a cramp, due to which she could not get out of the ice hole. I have many questions about what happened, but most of all I feel sorry for her children, in front of whom everything happened. Her boy went swimming. And then his mother passed away, he will obviously have a psychological trauma, a fear of water. But most importantly, Anna herself loved life. This is a set of circumstances that you would not wish on anyone. I have no right to condemn her, but she is a Major of Justice, and her behavior is still a complete mystery. Who organized the font, why didn't they make any mesh in the water? - those who at one time closely communicated with Tuporshina are indignant. images: ![]() ![]() |
