Re: Russia - Woman Dies Doing Russian Swing
This was not a BASE jump, as she had no parachute. The entirety of the rigging wasn’t visible, but it was some sort of rope/bungee jump. They clearly didn’t test it out before trying it on a live load, or possibly the previous jumpers had been lighter, or there was some sort of equipment failure (e.g. rope, anchors, etc). Rope jumps are dangerous, but in Russia that’s life!

Re: Russia - Woman Dies Doing Russian Swing
No... That’s what’s supposed to happen in my bedroom... With a lot less clothing involved...

Re: Russia - Woman Dies Doing Russian Swing
Yeah thanks, I know lol. When I made the comment the title of the thread was different and since then, there were some developments and unfortunately I can't edit my posts. But a few pages into the thread there's another video that shows they had two dudes that were human anchors, one of the dudes wasn't ready and lost his grip on rope and got dragged into the parking lot which caused the accident. They show a person go before this woman and was fine. Apparently they go around different places and use the setup for fun. |
