This is famous story. Driver survived and got 6 years in prison. His license has been revoked due to drink driving at the time of incident. In addition he got 1st(max) degree of disability due to his burns |

The driver was 24 yo. From 2006 to crash he got 26 driving penalty, 18 of them for speeding and without seat belt. And yes, he's got 9y of prison. He has no regret.

that's insane!  the one guy was lucky to have been saved so readily, but it's harrowing to listen to his buddy slouch on the wheel once the flames get to him. quite a way have to conveyed his passing, eh... even the cameraman starts crying.   : |

Same. The utter helplessness of literally watching people burn alive in front of you and not being able to rescue them in time must be extremely traumatic for the people present there. This video literally convinced me to buy a fire extinguisher and permanently keep it in the car, in case I ever happen to come across something similar.
