Two things immediately come to mind, why is he eating salt and who the fuck are the Aesculapians?
Excellent reflection on car windscreen and, he manages to kick himself in the head.

~ He had a dose of the same crystalline drug stuff that some recent Russian victim posts have been taking. Could be synthetic. Causing over stimulation (Rush) of the brain. Bath Salts?
~ If however the guy tried to eat salt to prevent an overdose, salt will only work on natural crystalline stimulants/steroids to prevent an overdose. Per as it changes the crystal shape to a non-lethal shape in the body. It won't work with synthetic crystalline drugs.
~ Example: Coffee caffeine works with keeping people up because the shape of the caffeine crystal is like a javelin. So it is tiny javelins jabbing at cells & rupturing them that stimulates one to stay awake, the pain.
~ Imagine if you were being stabbed by thousands of tiny ice picks. That's the feeling that drug addicts get when they go crazy complaining about ants/insects crawling all over them, besides the induced psychosis over-stimulation.
~ Try putting about three tiny crystal cubes of kosher (non-iodized) salt in black bitter coffee & you will notice the change.
~ The body uses salt to make it's own steroids, but introducing legal/illegal crystalline drugs artificially (artificial steroids) has it's disadvantages, overstimulation anguish, psychosis, & crater face symptoms. (Cells that have been ruptured & healed cause this skin condition)
