We’ve owned 3 of these vans over the past 30 years, and used them as a cheaper alternative to a shipping truck/van because they had so much fucking storage (the engine is below the seats; it’s almost entirely storage in that van) The ironic thing is that we nicknamed them ‘The Bubble’ because it was round, and would blow around if you’re driving on the freeway on a windy day with crosswind. It’s so funny to see something I’ve known for so long as ‘The Bubble’ doing the polar opposite of floating.  |
