Russia - Car Hit by Train Aftermath
"In the Suzemsky district of the Bryansk region, a 31-year-old Honda CRV driver died. The tragedy occurred today, February 2, around 13.02 on the 19th km of the Trubchevsk-Suzemka highway. According to the regional traffic police, the driver ignored the prohibitory traffic signal, drove to the crossing and was hit by a train. The man died at the scene of the accident. His 23-year-old passenger is hospitalized with injuries. Eyewitnesses say that the driver of the locomotive signaled to the driver. The colleague from the car standing on the other side of the crossing did the same. But the tragedy could not be prevented." |
