I don't understand why people will so willingly let themselves get dismembered/beheaded/tortured. They let the guy run away after his hand gets cut off. Dumbass. Supposed to run like hell before you get messed up.

I kind of wonder about that too, but we'll never know because we'll most likely never be in a situation like that. I can only assume that people just accept it because they know that it is inevitable. I feel like I would try to struggle as much as possible....especially if I knew I was going to get beheaded, in an attempt to have them kill me off quickly. I dunno, though. It must be absolutely terrifying beyond words to be sitting there knowing that you're about to be brutally and painfully killed. |
