CCTV footage reveals the moment a vet was shot inside his own premises. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon and left a fatal victim, identified as Bartolomé V. C, 35 years old, professional veterinarian and owner of the local Serpro veet located on Libertad street between Cnel. Martinez and Tte. Antonio Caballero, in the San Luis neighborhood. According to the account of an in-person witness, the assailant arrived on board an enduro-type motorcycle, colored fanny pack wearing dark clothes, and a black crossed to the chest. He entered the premises and shot directly at the vet, who received at least three gunshots, according to preliminary data. Closed circuit footage shows the moment when the shooter enters the premises, and subsequently flees aboard the same motorcycle. The attack was swift and direct. Bartolome was assisted, according to data provided by the Director of the Hospital Dr. Richard Acosta, by an ambulance from the Hospital with Mr. Adelio Ramirez and the paramedic Lic. Carlos Gimenez, to the Hospital of Yuty where unfortunately his death was confirmed minutes after he had entered. So far, the identity of the shooter is unknown, and the crime mobile is still being investigated. The police carefully analyze the security images in order to identify the person responsible. |

Really strange video. Seems he probably spent more on bullets than the amount of cash that came out of the register. Already shot the dude in the head, and then 2 more times? Not to mention he almost left after that with the money still on the counter...

I don't think robbery was the motive; it looks like a targeted killing. Making sure someone is dead and then forgetting the loot seems a bit suspect. |
