Re: Ring Camera Catches Murder in the Streets
You don't get it.......and sadly you'll probably never get it. Spend some of your energy figuring out what it means when someone can't see the forest for the trees...... |

Re: Ring Camera Catches Murder in the Streets
Ladies and gents ( and in between) This is how a BLM supporter thinks despite the fact that she will more likely get killed, raped, robbed by a person of her own race, she lives in the US and dare to say that whites are all privileged, despite the fact that even her own country treats equally shit almost everybody who is not rich. This is why she'd loot your store, property and might kill your loved ones in the process, ignoring the fact that all of what she brought up as white crimes STILL get committed by black people MORE everyday. Unreal. And Dr. King died for people like her....unreal. |

Re: Ring Camera Catches Murder in the Streets
No, I do get it. I understand exactly what kind of social and political obstacles the black community in America is up against. I know about redlining and gerrymandering and underfunded school districts and mixed-use zoning and racial profiling and discriminatory hiring practices and predatory lending and voter suppression and cultural misunderstandings. I also don't care about the criminal histories of black victims of police brutality like George Floyd because I understand that it has no bearing on how police are supposed to conduct themselves and the rights that all citizens have. I just get sick and tired of some people always blaming every single thing on normal-ass people who aren't running or ruining a damn thing, just because of their skin color. Black people don't cause some white people to victimize anyone any more than white people cause some black people to victimize anyone; those are conscious deliberate choices made by individuals, and it's ignoring the forest for the trees to judge someone more on the tribe they're from or the tribe you think they're up against rather than the merits of their actions and decisions. But really, I don't know why I even bother having this discussion anymore. So many different factions in America seem to have reached a point where no one is willing to back down from perpetuating vicious cycles that are almost half a century old at this point because it's more about pride and uncompromising dogma than solutions and progress. I'm just thankful that I'm in a position in life where I'm able to weather the storm because it's looking like these next few generations are in for a HUGE uphill slog. Humanity in general just seems to have gotten even worse than I thought. |
