Argentina, a policeman shot and killed a thief who had tried to stab him. They are investigating whether the incident is linked to a shooting in the area, where another criminal had died in a confrontation with the security forces.

The event took place on Tuesday afternoon in the center of the southern Buenos Aires suburbs. A group of uniformed men can be seen running towards the middle of the block after being alerted by merchants who alerted 911 to the situation.

Armed with a knife and altered, the uniformed men surrounded the suspect. The criminal attempted to stab one of the officers who shot him to defend himself.

Identified as D.N.A (22), the thief was transferred to the Hospital where minutes later he died of the injuries. The body had two impacts: one on the left leg and the other on the abdomen.

In addition, they seek to determine if the victim was the accomplice of another criminal who was shot by a City Police officer when he tried to assault him in a town in the same area.
Update: Yes he was as they both tried to rob a cop.
