Re: Right To Die: Suicide Tourist Craig Ewert's Assisted Death In Switzerland *Mild*
The man who criticizes assisted suicide just pisses me off. There is no logical reason to object to an uncoerced decision like this. It was his fucking choice to die with dignity. For some, I imagine, the thought of having someone else wipe your ass because you can't anymore, is humiliating. |

I was told I was doing the humane thing when I put my dog down when he had terminal cancer and could not retain normal life. But when it's a person, whom has a valid DNR order, and the family steps in and says to save the person, so they can go on suffering like a vegetable, people call that humane... I've also been called a murderer for not resuscitating a patient in the street with a valid DNR order. This would is fucked up.

I think it's the individual's choice. Unfortunately, religion has polluted laws. Not only did this man get to end his life that was utterly miserable for him on his own terms, but you know he went out happy and stress free with the barbiturates. I almost wonder if the drugs make you feel so fine with your current condition that one may change their mind as the effects kick in. |

Should be an option in uk. Both parents passed in difficult circumstances. Unfortunately the uk is a piece of shit. The narrator is a wanker too. Hate that style of trendy cock in the mouth vocally semi strained whining. Fucking msm. Eat my dick. |

As a person with a progressive demyelinating disease that will kill me, and watching my uncle with the same disease die after years in a bed miserable, I totally agree that dying with dignity and on our own terms is a human right. I don’t want to live when I can’t even roll over on my own, let alone make my son care for me as I die slowly right in front of him. I’m glad there are several states here in the US that are right to die States. Obviously it’s not something that should be taken lightly but it should be a viable option for people that have a progressive or terminal illness. I wish my mother had had the option, she had early onset Alzheimer’s and at the end couldn’t even remember how to swallow. I have the gene which when combined with a parent that had or has it means it’s a matter of when not if, but my autoimmune disease will most likely get me first. So I won the genetic anti-lottery twice! Lol. I cope with very dark humor, so y’all are the best company. |
