I'm not a big fan of cops either, but I do agree that they sometimes get a bum rap...I've seem so many videos were a cop will tell someone to do something, and the person will give the cops a hard time, either arguing, resisting arrest, try to run/flee in a car etc...The easiest way to avoid police brutality is to just do what they say i.e...get down on the floor, hands behind your back etc. If basic stuff like that was followed then my guess is that there would be a whole lot less police brutality...I know police differ in every city/county, but in N.America I believe this to be true.

Could we please possible borrow some of your police brutality? Where I live old Ricardo would still be wandering the streets and getting state benefits with the rest of the junkies and arsonists and wife beaters, etc, after having a slap on the wrist for his misdemeanours. In his place at the police station would be some random guy with no previous record and a decent job and nice family who's been hauled in for comitting the hideous crime of dropping a cigarette end on the pavement...
