With a bastard child of course. Well, that little guy at least won't now become a sicario that shoots targets outside of pastry shops.

Mutatá River Took Her Life

The rising of the Mutatá River in Urabá Antioquia left a tragic toll on June 3, when seven people were swept away by the current. Among the victims, the lifeless body of Vanessa Pérez, 23, was found, while her four-year-old son and two fishermen remain missing. The body was found exactly in the vicinity of the municipality of El Carmen del Darién in the department of Chocó. The Incident in the tourist sector of Puentiadero, on the Mutatá River, was triggered on June 3 due to the heavy rains that hit the region . Of the seven people affected, three were rescued alive, while four remained missing.

The search, led by the Mutatá Firefighters and volunteers from the sector, bore fruit today, June 5, when the body of Vanessa Pérez was found in the vicinity of the municipality of El Carmen del Darién, in Chocó. The 23-year-old girl had been dragged along with her four-year-old son, Nicolás Pérez, who remains missing.

“ We are in a rainy season and we have been emphatic that this generates some difficulties whenever we are close to the river ,” warned Carlos Ríos, director of Dagran. “That is why we have asked that events or recreational events not be held near these sites.”

The mayor of Mutatá, Jairo Ortiz, confirmed the discovery of Vanessa's body and emphasized the continuation of the search efforts to find the minor and the two fishermen. “ It was found by the community of the Las Brisas sector, who notified the fire department and civil defense team. The child has not yet been found, we are searching ,” he explained.

The risk management authorities maintain the search operation, while Vanessa's body will be transferred to Frontino , her place of origin, where she will be laid to rest by her family.
