It's more efficient, especially with poorly trained and poorly trained terrorists, to hit Body Center Mass. The probability of a hit is much higher than going for a target as comparatively small like the head. And there are plenty of organs in the torso that when damaged can lead to death. Perhaps not as fast or dramatic as a headshot, but after all, dead is dead. Seems the government snipers in Syria often specialize in head shots. It's become kinda of a signature move in some areas. BTW, the way this guy dropped, I wouldn't be surprised if (as has been suggested before) he was shot in the heart and was dead before he hit the ground. |
