Re: Sham Hawks Rebels Destroy Tank with a Huge IED
It would have been awesome had not all the shells exploded beforehand, so I could watch it blow up just as they were praying. |

Re: Sham Hawks Rebels Destroy Tank with a Huge IED
It is the propellant (the powder for the gun) that burns and caused the column of fire that we saw after the initial blast. Once it starts, it's all over for everyone in the tank - it incerates them. I'm sure the poor bastards were nothing but cinders after that.

Re: Sham Hawks Rebels Destroy Tank with a Huge IED
i can't believe the tank was able to roll anywhere after the blast. the occupants wouldn't have been conscious to feel the heat after a shock like that, their brains and nerves and organs would be mush

Re: Sham Hawks Rebels Destroy Tank with a Huge IED
Physics, tank weighs maybe 40 tons with 3 inch steel sides (real heavy), it is rolling 30 mph so it just keeps rolling, with crew shaked and baked or not. Interestingly, the explosion blew the treads off, but the tank rolled on the wheels. It appears the wheels were ploughing deep trenches in the ground when the tank stopped.
