It would be more astonishing if snuff doesn't exist, but this vid's not been prooven to be snuff the tiniest bit. This vid's just as much snuff as the beheading of nick berg.

Snuff all comes down to the definition of what snuff is. It's not simply death on camera, on that we can agree. It usually suggests the murder is only occurring because of the camera. Often it means a murder that's filmed to be sold on some nefarious black market (which doesn't exist). Some insist there has to be a sexual aspect to it. As for this video, they had killed before without the camera, so it was likely just incidental they decided to record it this time. Sure as hell they never planned on making any money from it. |

You seem to know what snuff really is, and that makes me quite happy. To many people seem to think that as long as someone dies in a video it's snuff. Some people even think that a vid can't be labeled snuff if the killer(s) like what they're doing. As far as I know noone has ever found a snuff film.

I remember a rumor floating around (possibly Wiki) that their goal was to sell videos of their murders to someone. Probably just that—a rumor.

Yes. Someone've heard that a friend of a friends friend have heard that they possibly and maybe might have boasted that they were in contact with a wealthy foreign website owner. Rumors are inevitable when a video this brutal surface.

Yeah, and just how could they find this mysterious network where big prices are paid for videos? As quality as it is, I wouldn't pay for it, as that would leave a money trail (accessory to murder, serious shit), and it's not like you'd get legal rights to it or anything. Still, I think we're all glad it seeped out onto the internet though. Still the most brutal video out there, though a few others come close. |

Just horrible. It's horrifying to know that these kids made friends and shared a common trait of the complete lack of respect for any life but their own. Although this video is incredibly brutal, they picked people who were easy targets. They'll find themselves the easy targets in a Ukrainian prison now.
