Well, who knows what was going on. I know this, if you get wrongfully arrested, and you keep your mouth shut and do as you are told, you will not be tased by the police. If you are innocent, but you are also STUPID, you will try to fight the police who are just doing their job. Smart people fight using the SYSTEM in place, stupid people try to fight the police physically or resist them or give them a hard time.
Often, people with mental illnesses are mistaken for people that have willfull disregard for the police. I think this fact seems to have been ignored in the police training program. They often don't seem to treat people as if the are potentially mentally ill and should be trained to keep it under consideration at all times. I think it would reduce the number of mentally ill deaths by police hands.

How exactly are the police protecting you everyday? If someone wanted you dead and broke into your home, unless you managed to defend yourself... you'd be dead. The police would arrive in time to secure the crime scene but I'm not sure at what point you believe they would have protected you.

His tazing was way overboard. The fucked up thing is they released the man from the cuffs and forced him to resist with the tazing.

I understand that cops deal with assholes, but that asshole didnt deserve to die!!!

Wait, wait...WHAT? The guy was clearly non- compliant, was resisting arrest even AFTER getting zapped. Cops usually do their job, the bad ones make them all look bad, because a crooked cop is ones worst nightmare. If I was on a jury, I'd side with the cops.

Meanwhile: Somewhere in the city a citizen waited 10+ minutes for the police to arrive for help because they dont have enough ''manpower'' to patrol.........
