the hero dad probably wanted to make sure that he was going to die. he knew that once he shot him people would run to help the bastard, so he wanted to make sure he killed him right then. I suspect he also knew that had he lived, he would NOT receive proper justice and therefor he had no choice but to take action himself.

Probation was too harsh a punishment for dad. Every father would have done the same thing. Doucet got what he deserved.

This is from a Faces of Death movie.... the guy who got shot was a karate instructor who kidnapped the dudes son.....shit's probably not real, Faces of Death is mostly reenactments it says so at the end of the movie.  |

It's 100% real. It was shown on the local news all over the state when this fucker went down. They did cut out the policemen wrestling the gun away from the shooter and screaming "GARY, WHY?!?!?!" for a few minutes, (their concern wassn't for the rapist, but for the fact that he could have hit one of them) but every second of that footage is the real deal.
