There are multiple modern interpretations of Sharia Law in the muslim world and none of them prescribe what you're talking about.

The most common interpretation (including that written into law in both Malaysia and Indonesia, the most likely location for this video) prescribes the following:

- Unmarried consensual sex: Lashings for both parties

- Adulterous consensual sex among the married: stoning to death for both parties

- Rape among the unmarried: Lashings for the rapist; no penalty for the victim

- Even in the case of adultery in marriage, under Sunni interpretation:

"Any woman who performs sexual intercourse with a man who is not her lawful husband shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to whipping not exceeding six strokes or to any combination thereof."

The reality is that this video is almost certainly has very little to do with Sharia/Islamic Law, or the Muslim world as a whole, and is nothing more than 3rd world vigilante justice that some guy happened to yell out "allahu akhbar" during.

So I did a little digging, like 3 minutes, and found this directly out of the Quran: "Under Islamic law, rape can only be proven if the rapist confesses or if there are four male witnesses. Women who allege rape without the benefit of the act having been witnessed by four men (who presumably develop a conscience afterwards) are actually confessing to having sex. If they or the accused happens to be married, then it is considered to be adultery."

Haha, well now you're pulling out the emergency cards which is an admission of defeat.

Anyway, I wish we could get more information on this one, I've searched around and can't find a damned thing.

Edit: Did a little research and this is almost certainly in Thailand (the gas station she's standing in front of is a state-owned oil and gas company in Thailand), although they also own a handful of stations in the Philippines as well, so that's a small possibility.

Neither are majority muslim nations, so like I mentioned earlier there's very little likelyhood this has anything to do with "muslim law" and was just a random act of vigilante justice by some muslims.

I'll see if I can find more.
