Re: Rapist Gets Beaten, Shot & Set On Fire
Well if he did do it he deserved it but I'm against the death penalty. A african guy at work once told me about a guy he knew who was accused of rape and had a large stick shoved down the end of his dick and snapped while it was in!!

Re: Rapist Gets Beaten, Shot & Set On Fire
While I don't neccessarily disagree with your desires, I don't believe that is the way to advance a civilization. You can't brutally murder someone (rapist or not) without becoming the crime itself. You will never forget what you have done, and it would not serve you well to torture and murder someone for their crimes. It is barbaric, and non-civilized. Wouldn't it be nice to prevent rapes by instilling stronger morals in citizens rather than hoping to deter rape through fear of punishment? I mean, the reason I don't rape people is not because it is illegal and not because I would be punished if caught. The reason I don't rape people is because of my morals and my ability to control sexual impulses. So if we can identify someone that has sexual impulse control issues, then we can possibly learn to treat the issue. Punishing people for crimes only means that the criminal will learn to be more careful to not get caught, rather than deterring them from committing the crime. When will people figure this out? Revenge serves temporary gratification and does nothing to help the victim or society. |

Re: Rapist Gets Beaten, Shot & Set On Fire
Hasn't anyone noticed that the only countries that seem to have this mob-justice crap going on are extremely under developed countries that are light years behind the modern civilization? Check out the crime rates in some of these countries and compare them to Canada. You think Canada's rape rate per capita is higher than these countries due to our lack of vengeance on criminals? Or do you think our rape rate is lower? This isn't rocket science people. Punishment does NOT prevent crime.
