I think the snake may have broken his neck. He wound the snake so it was wedged between his collarbone and base of his skull with (2) laps and the snake squeezed. That would have elongated the top of his spine and separated it from his brain stem perhaps.
Look at his head flop when they pick him up..
Raising his arm means his spinal cord was in tact at least to the 6th vertebrae. Trust me!

That's a viable hypothesis, but not a certainty from what we see in the vid. Remember, it only takes a matter of a few seconds of shutting off the blood flow through the carotid arteries to produce unconsciousness. He seemed to be signalling for help when he first went down, and shortly thereafter went limp. Maybe a news account somewhere to solve the mystery?
Yeah, choked him out. You could even see the tapping out but got no takers.

Well as a legit Doctor, I would have prescribed to him exactly the nice head yanking he received being carried away like that. Also for the music to be turned up, and possibly several anointed leeches to keep away any unwanted Ghosts or Plasma Demons that the reptile may have been carrying.
