Re: Protestors Attack Man in Vehicle, Driver Shoots and Kills Man
Actually if you want to go by early reports. Then Perry did impact his car against members of the crowd. Specifically one report of him knocking down a woman in a wheelchair. There's also early reports of him rolling down the window before shooting. Though all that is just as unconfirmed as him tapping the window with the barrel. No video or picture evidence points to him using the firearm in a threatening manner. Some of the evidence used against Perry when he was first charged with murder was of course witness testimony, his own testimony, and some of the stuff on his social media. It's all purged now, of course. He deleted his furaffinity account, and all |

Re: Protestors Attack Man in Vehicle, Driver Shoots and Kills Man
I was under the impression that the Chief of Police was not interested in pressing charges, that it was the DA, almost a year later, and Chief wasn't too thrilled. I'm also guessing that if he did hit someone, it didn't lead to an injury, or they'd be adding vehicular charges to his worries. |

Re: Protestors Attack Man in Vehicle, Driver Shoots and Kills Man
Regardless of what happens, it's interesting to see how the narrative has shifted regarding this story as new information was released. When it first happened, people claimed that Foster fired first and Perry returned fire because of the difference in volume of the gunshots. Once Perry himself admitted that he fired first, and that the second volley of shots were from a paramedic returning fire, those paying attention changed their tune and said that Foster pointed the rifle at Perry. Only Perry claimed that and everyone else on scene disputed it, and there was no video or photographic evidence of it, so Perry got charged. Then it just sort of became a vague accusation of Foster approaching Perry's vehicle. Which is also not true because the video showed Perry drove up to (or into depending on who you believe) the crowd where Foster was, making Perry the one approaching, not Foster. After all that, it just sort of rested at the idea that he deserved it somehow. But of course there's people who still think Foster shot at Perry, despite Perry himself saying otherwise. It just seems that people are desperate to spin this particular incident into a self-defense shooting when most evidence points to it not being that way. It's probably because of the perceived political affiliation of Foster as a leftist (when in reality he was an anarcho-capitalist and about as far from the left as you could get) because of his support for BLM at the time. I sincerely doubt the same sentiment would exist if he were a blue lives matter flag waving Trump voter shot under the same circumstances by some antifa ******. I'm sure the sentiment would be that he was murdered. |
