Professor Shot Dead
August 4th, 2018 Sesi de Marabá, Pará, Brazil A professor at the Federal Institute of Pará (IFPA) was murdered on Saturday (4) on Tocantins Avenue, in front of Sesi de Marabá, in southeastern Pará. According to the Civil Police, Ederson Costa dos Santos, 29, would have been involved in a traffic accident and then was shot by firearm. The Homicide Police Station was activated at 2:20 am by the Military Police. The victim was rescued by the Samu and arrived to enter the Regional Hospital of Marabá in serious condition, but did not resist and died. Witnesses told police there was a collision between the victim's car and the suspect's car. And that, when Ederson got out of the car, was surprised by the shots. Police investigate whether the motivation for the crime was the collision between vehicles. |

The teacher came from a bar together with two students who were still in the car during the shooting. He bumped a car on the highway but didn't stop to check for damage or anything so when he entered tocatins ave the guy that was bumped parked in front of him and got out arguing with him for five minutes before he shot him twice. Police is very close to solve the case as they have the car and the license plate

UPDATE Felipe Freire Sampaio Gouveia, a soldier of the Maranhão Military Police, was arrested yesterday (10th August 2018) for the murder. Police are trying to locate his girlfriend, Thais Santos Rodrigues, who was at the scene of the murder. Felipe's car has been seized.
