Pregnant Woman Shot in the Stomach by Robbers, Dominican Republic
A woman was shot in her pregnant belly at the hands of robbers. Video footage shows her laying on the pavement just after being shot, with blood coming from the gunshot wound in her belly. News reports state that the baby was able to be saved after surgery, although I struggle to believe this. Especially as she looks very dead, yet still very pregnant, in the photo of her at the hospital. A Haitian national also died in the shooting.    |
