yep- thats an eunectes murinus- aka the green anaconda. one of the worlds largests snakes. and this one wasnt a small one either.

as mentioned before do anacondas count as boas and all boas give birth to live young. there usually just surrounded by a slim and jelly bubble theyve to rip apart to breath air for the first time.

anacondas this big can have up to 60 babies. bigger anacondas can even give birth to over 90 babies (record is 108 if i remember correct).

sad she was killed.

but i actually wonder how she was killed. i mean snakes are pretty slow- they dont run into ur car like deer.

i bet she just laid on that street to warm herself up (snakes are coldblooded and often use the warmer asphalt). so i can understand how u can miss such a snake.

i wouldnt be surprised if the driver killed her on purpose.

pretty sad since such large anacondas are pretty rare
