Re: Policeman Shoots 2 Robbers After Being Downed
Too bad Mexico doesn't allow their citizens to protect themselves (legally) with firearms; the Federale might have had some instant back up. I can see how he would have thought the first perp was DRT (dead right there) since he dropped like he did. But this just goes to show that a gun shot can cause instant incapacitation, but that it can some times be only momentarily. Just like when you see someone take a punch on the "button". They drop to the ground momentarily unconscious, then stand right back up...

Re: Policeman Shoots 2 Robbers After Being Downed
yeah well life isn't a video game. maybe the cop had a revolver in which case he only had six shots and felt he couldn't afford to unload on the first guy, especially when he felt he had placed a good shot. also, on video, the 30 frames per second(at best) never catches many of the shots- just because you see one flash, which lasts only a few milliseconds, doesn't mean there weren't 2-3 more shots fired, between frames.

Re: Policeman Shoots 2 Robbers After Being Downed
It's too dangerous (distracting and time consuming when split seconds count) to 'check' and see if someone is dead. It's much much safer and faster to pop them twice in the head when they are down. They are called 'Security Rounds'. |
