Re: Police Shoot & Kill Man Wielding a Golf Club During a Drug House Raid
“He had some silver thing. ... I thought it was a sword or something,” Burnett said. “It was silverish and thin. “I didn’t think about saying words. I just thought about not getting hit, or slashed or whatever.” And shooting 3 times? |

I watched that vid very closely, the cop was NOT in swinging distance, he could have ordered the man to drop his weapon, the man was confused , he probubly thought it was a home invasion. this is unprofessional stupidity. he shot on instinct not on intellect.

murdering trigger happy cock suckers. A long glimmering shiny gun? what if it was a sword? he was holding it back. The officer could have just gave it one half of one second and IF the guy came at him, THEN let him have it. The guy was paralyzed, and blown away. The cop should be charged with first degree murder; anyone else would be. |

Re: Police Shoot & Kill Man Wielding a Golf Club During a Drug House Raid
Now we're arguing semantics. He was, as you say "standing still", and was not close enough to be a real threat, whether he was armed with a sword, a golf club or a baseball bat. Nonetheless, this was blatant use of excessive force. |
