Re: Police Officer Killed North St. Louis County
As a former cop (for like 1 1/2 years) people showing their support and appreciation is a good thing. 90% of cops don't get anything from you writing a check to support your local law enforcement. It's not like a beat cop feels good because someone donated some money. But he or she does appreciate when someone tells them thank you for doing that job. I only lasted that little bit because didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I had a body shop previously, and I got used to making people happy I dealt with at work. Big change to feeling like you're inconveniencing and ruining peoples days at work. It can be a thankless job. |

Re: Police Officer Killed North St. Louis County
A load of bullshit. A cop was shot and bleeding to death, and all you can do is make fun of the way those women were talking. They grabbed his radio and talked into his body cam asking for help. Then they were holding his hand and trying to comfort him until backup arrived. Shame on you. DR is not about that. |
