I kind of would be a little hesitant to think that it was a suicide pact considering the 14 year old boy got shot in the back of the dome, but this would have definitely been a crazy case to solve as a homicide detective with no footage.

Her mom told news that she believed her daughter accidentally shot herself. She said "when she went to pick up the gun, it went off bc she grabbed it by the barrel." I have a feeling that's what everyone told her mom (as they should have!) even though it seems iffy. Just let her believe her daughter was ignorant enough to have accidentally shot 2 people.

It's possible she made that split second decision to kill herself but I think it's more likely an accident, with her fumbling and shaking from the shock of what just occurred a couple of seconds before, having no clue how to handle the gun and could've intertwined her finger in the trigger again.

This is hard to watch… and even harder to comprehend that the girl shot herself on accident. If you just touched a gun and it killed you cousin, would you grab it again?
